Iraq Looks Outward for Help In Bringing

After the atrocities inflicted in Mosul by the terrorist group ISIS, Iraq does not have the means or the institutions to find justice for thousands of victims. In order for justice to be brought to those who committed war crimes, Syracuse College of Law Professor David Crane told Reuters one thing must be done.

“Bringing ISIS to justice for genocide against the Yazidi community, at the domestic or the international level, will depend on the strategic preservation of forensic evidence,” he said in the piece.
