Frederick Carriere Interviewed About North Korean Missile Tests

In a Daily Orange ‘Ask the Experts’ article, Maxwell political science professor Frederick Carriere discussed North Korea’s latest nuclear test, and what the response to such an action may be.

“It’s only the real idealists that are absolutely convinced that the sanction regime will force North Korea to cave in order to survive,” he said. “Sanctions are in place in order to send the message that North Korea is an unacceptable member of the international community due to their continuous testing of nuclear weaponry.”
