Olympic Sponsorships Will Start to Cost More

As the Olympics inch closer to returning to host sites in Europe and America, the price for sponsorships has been on the rise. The David B. Falk Endowed Professor of Sport Management Rick Burton was interviewed by Bloomberg Pursuits, saying that sponsors should do well in the upcoming games.

“The presence of Paris and Los Angeles tells Western sponsors that the games are going to be really good in seven and 11 years,” said Burton. “There will be a premium based on the games coming back to those two continents.”
