With over 400,000 different shows available for download on Apple Podcasts, podcasting has hit its stride. Recent years have seen the medium steadily gain traction with listeners. As audiences grow, the industry faces challenges with content creation, content discovery and monetization. Though technology enables the proliferation of content on demand, what does this mean for creators who want to use the platform to tell compelling stories, and for brands that wish to engage with their audiences in a new way?
Newhouse will host a panel on podcasting on Wednesday, Oct. 11, at 6 p.m. in the Joyce Hergenhan Auditorium in Newhouse 3. The panel will cover topics ranging from storytelling and production to audience analytics and advertising.
