From Congressman to Felon: The Trials of Anthony Weiner

Scandal has ruled over former Congressman Anthony Weiner and his sexting exploits and now he is going to jail. For NBC News, Newhouse Professor and Director of the Bleier Center for Television & Popular Culture Robert Thompson commented on the situation.

“What he did was pretty reprehensible by pretty much every standard and what made it worse was anybody could see it online,” Thompson said. “Does he offer the public anything that would make anybody want to forgive him? I don’t know too many people who think that.”
