Sessions Dismissal of DACA No Surprise

It took nobody by surprise when Attorney General Jeff Sessions endorsed and helped rescind the DACA act that protected so many in the United States. He has long been a proponent of such an act, dating back to its inaugural years from the Obama administration.

In a Washington Examiner article, Maxwell Professor Elizabeth Cohen was very straightforward, in saying that this is no surprise, and likely isn’t over. “He has set DACA in his sights and this is likely not the last anti-immigrant gesture he will make as Attorney General,” she said for the piece.
