This is a Wake-Up Call to Mark Zuckerberg

Syracuse, NY…Syracuse University social media expert Jennifer Grygiel, assistant professor at the Newhouse School, is available for comment on the news that a Russian firm used Facebook ads during the 2016 election in order to target voters.
“I hope that this is a wake-up call to Mark Zuckerberg who failed to acknowledge that issues on Facebook influenced the U.S. election,” says Grygiel. “Congress needs to pay attention to this as well—there is a long history of policy, such as electioneering or live-streaming) in the broadcast and TV markets that should be examined and considered for social media companies.”
