With many donors vacationing and schools that host blood drives on break, summer is an especially difficult time to collect enough blood donations to meet the needs of patients. To give hope and strength to trauma victims, cancer patients and all people depending on life saving blood transfusions, student Claudia Heritage is hosing a blood drive on Thursday, June 22, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. in Room 304 ABC Schine Student Center. New donors are needed to help avoid shortages this summer.
