Oh, the Places You’ll Go! Celebrating Recent High School Grads
We asked faculty and staff to share photos of their favorite recent high school graduates. Congratulations to all, and good luck as you continue your journeys!
Strawberry shortcake and sundaes, music and a fun run and walk will all be featured at the annual Strawberry Fest, to be held Friday, June 9, on the Kenneth A. Shaw Quad from 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m., rain or shine. The event is sponsored by University College, the Department of Recreation Services and Athletics.
Strawberry sundae tickets will cost $5.25 each and are available now. Send IDs and ticket delivery information to Vera Gibbs (443-4029 ) at the Carrier Dome concessions office, 900 Irving Ave. IDs must be received by Tuesday, June 6, and tickets will be delivered on Thursday, June 8. Tickets can also be purchased at the event. Students with a valid SUID will receive a free sundae or shortcake.
The event will include a trade show by University departments. Register for your department by June 5 by contacting Carrie McDonald at camcdo01@syr.edu. Also included will be games and prizes, picnic foods, a bike tune-up clinic by the Department of Public Safety and a farmer’s market from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
