Syracuse University Receives AmeriCorps VISTA Award for 2017-18
Syracuse University’s Mary Ann Shaw Center for Public and Community Service, in partnership with the Syracuse Northeast Community Center (SNCC), is delighted to announce that it has been awarded an AmeriCorps VISTA via New York Campus Compact for the for 2017-18 academic year. This continuation of a three-year project will leverage Syracuse University student, faculty and staff research interests in focusing on SNCC food access programs and its role in the adjacent community school.
