University College Staff Elected to Leadership Roles
Two staff members from University College have been elected to leadership roles in the University and Professional Continuing Education Association (UPCEA) for the Mid-Atlantic Region.
Karen Bull, interim associate dean of Academic Affairs and Online Programs, was elected as the region’s chair-elect for a three-year term. Her appointment will begin at the UPCEA national conference in Chicago this spring. In spring 2018, Bull will move into the role of chair.
Eileen Julian, senior program administrator, has been re-elected as the region’s secretary. Her term will also begin at the national conference in Chicago.
UPCEA is the association for leaders in professional, continuing and online education. It serves 365 institutions, including most of the leading public and private colleges and universities in North America. The association provides innovative conferences and specialty seminars, research and benchmarking information, professional networking opportunities and timely publications.
