The Office of Equal Opportunity, Inclusion and Resolution Services (EOIRS) has launched its new website. The office recognizes the value of diversity in all its forms and collaborates across all divisions of the University to build community and cultivate a culture of respect, safety and equity.
The portal, which can be found at inclusion.syr.edu, furnishes the campus community with all the information necessary to ensure the University is compliant with all New York State and Federal laws encompassing equal opportunity. This includes, but is not limited to, Title IX, the American with Disabilities Act and the Family and Medical Leaves Act.
Providing quick links to university inclusion policies and sexual assault reporting resources, the website allows for the timely dissemination of materials. The portal also includes an extensive outline on planning inclusive events respective of accessibility, through partnership with Accessible SU. With the redesign of its website, the office hopes to convey transparency in all processes regarding the promotion of equal opportunity and inclusion among all members of the campus community.
