The Falcone Center for Entrepreneurship at the Martin J. Whitman School of Management  announced its schedule for the annual Syracuse Entrepreneurship Bootcamp. This year’s bootcamp will be offered Oct. 15, 22 and 29 and Nov. 5, 12 and 19 at the Whitman School of Management, located at 721 University Ave.

The Saturday bootcamps will last from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for six weeks at a cost of $675. A limited number of scholarships are available to help offset tuition costs.

The bootcamp is a series of modules designed to help entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs develop the skills necessary to create successful, growth-oriented businesses. The only requirements are curiosity and a driving desire to learn more about entrepreneurship. The modules cover a wide variety of topics, including but not limited to innovative marketing, challenges and opportunities for new and growing ventures, business models, doing more while spending less, sustainability, and using digital technology and social media to grow your business.

“The bootcamp was exactly what I needed at the time; the program spoke to me as a new entrepreneur just as it spoke to the seasoned entrepreneur sitting next to me,” says Linda Erb, founder of OhGoodyGoody.com. “I came away from every session with invigorating emotions of pride, impatience, enthusiasm and excitement and they still linger with me today. I have started my own business with skills I could not have gotten anywhere other than the Syracuse Entrepreneurship Bootcamp!”

At bootcamp a team of entrepreneurship faculty and a number of successful entrepreneurs will provide a fun and interactive experience, moving back and forth from introducing ideas and concepts to applying them to new and growing businesses. Terry Brown, Alexandra Kostakis, Alex McKelvie, Todd Moss, John Torrens and Ken Walsleben head up the award-winning faculty members who will instruct participants.

In addition to receiving one-on-one consulting assistance, each participant will receive a certificate upon completion of the program. For more information and to register for Entrepreneurship Bootcamp online, please visit whitman.syr.edu/ bootcamp.

The Syracuse Entrepreneurship Bootcamp is presented by the Whitman School of Management and National Grid, with support from Bond, Schoeneck & King, PLLC, ONEGROUP, Syracuse SCORE and Business Journal News Network.
