Save More, Stress Less!
Saving money is one of those tasks that is so much easier said than done—everyone knows it’s smart to save money in the long run, but many of us still have difficulty doing it. There is more to saving than simply spending less money, and sometimes all it takes is that one first step in the right direction to get things moving in your favor. Take that step and join Derek Brainard, financial literacy coordinator at Syracuse University, for a dynamic presentation and discussion that will focus on the importance of creating a savings strategy, having an emergency fund and what accounts are best for short-term and mid-term goals. Spend 30 minutes with Brainard and leave with action steps to improve your financial security.
Healthy snacks and giveaways! All staff and faculty welcome.
