embody_logo_2c_CMYK_tagYou know that exercise is an important element in keeping you safe from chronic disease, managing your weight and reducing stress, but fitting it in is challenging. With work, kids, spouse, chores and the fast pace of life, time is at a premium. Fitting in 30 minutes of exercise every day may seem nearly impossible some days. The key is to be flexible and make fitness a way of life. Don’t stress, it can be done! For general health, you can even break up that 30 minutes into more manageable 10-minute increments and still reap the benefits.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends a minimum of 150 minutes per week of moderate-intensity aerobic activity, as well as including weekly strength training sessions that include all the major muscle groups.

Join Maggie Thomson, ACSM-certified exercise physiologist and Syracuse University adjunct professor, and learn some realistic, fun and effective ways to add more movement into your workday and life. Healthy snacks and giveaways! All staff and faculty welcome.

Registration is now open; space is limited.
