Change of Leadership Announced at Whitman School of Management

Whitman School of Management

Vice Chancellor and Provost Michele Wheatly today announced that, effective immediately, Kenneth Kavajecz, will no longer serve as dean of the Whitman School of Management. He has also been placed on administrative leave from his faculty position until further notice.

During this time of transition, leadership will be provided by Vice Chancellor J. Michael Haynie, a tenured faculty member in the Whitman School and executive director of the Institute for Veterans and Military Families. Provost Wheatly and Vice Chancellor Haynie will meet with the Whitman community this Friday, Sept. 16, at a time and place to be announced, to discuss future interim leadership of the Whitman School.
