Summer Snapshots 2025
From the looks of it, our University community members sure enjoyed themselves over the summer months. From a big adventure around the world to a laid-back staycation, take a look at the fun they had.
Members of the Syracuse University Department of Public Safety are once again holding their Summer Bike Rodeo. The event aims to draw attention to the use of bikes on and off campus, the rules of the road and best practices for the growing number of people who use pedal power to get around.
This year, the Summer Bike Rodeo will take place on Wednesday, July 13, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., on the Quad between Shaffer and the Orange Grove. Among the day’s activities:
• learn about traffic safety
• review the rules of the road
• register your bike
• get a quick tune-up
There will also be a free raffle drawing for a U-bolt lock, along with discount coupons for bike locks at the SU Bookstore for those who register their bike.
Please note: an SU or SUNY ESF ID is required for this event.
