Richard Murnane, Thompson Research Professor at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research, will give the annual Jerry Miner Lecture on Thursday, April 28, at 3:30 p.m. in 426 Eggers Hall. He will speak on “The Consequences of Educational Reform in Chile: Lessons for the U.S. School Choice Debate.”

This annual lecture is sponsored by the Education Finance and Accountability Program (EFAP). It is named in honor of Emeritus Professor Jerry Miner, an EFAP faculty associate who is widely known for his research in public finance in general and education finance in particular, and who may be the only person on earth who understands the New York State Education aid formulas.
