Selections from the application portfolios of 12 high school seniors who participated in Talent Agency Teen Art Portfolio Development are on view through Thursday, April 21, in the community spaces and Link Gallery on the ground floor of the Nancy Cantor Warehouse, 350 W. Fayette St., Syracuse. The annual exhibition, which is titled “Launched,” is free and open to the public. A closing reception will be held on April 21 from 5-7 p.m.

Talent Agency is a community-based pre-college and college readiness program located in the Near Westside of Syracuse. In partnership with the College of Visual and Performing Arts (VPA), the teen participants, who are from the City of Syracuse, are taught and mentored by Syracuse University graduate and undergraduate students. The program gives youth with talent and passion for art a chance to compete for scholarships and acceptance to the best programs for their interests and needs.

Funding for Talent Agency has been provided in part by the Office of the Chancellor and VPA. The closing reception is presented by VPA’s 914Works. For more information visit http://www.talentagency-syr.org.
