Search Committee Accepting Nominations for Dean of College of Law
The search committee tasked with recruiting and identifying the next dean of the College of Law will begin reviewing candidate resumés for the position this week and expects to begin the first round of interviews in mid-February.
Chaired by Associate Provost for Faculty Affairs and Professor of Law LaVonda N. Reed, the committee has advertised the position and continues to accept nominations from interested candidates.
Executive recruiting firm Korn Ferry is assisting in the search and is currently reviewing submitted resumés and screening applicants. The search committee will then review the pool of potential candidates and select the strongest applicants for the first-round interviews.
The committee expects to have a new dean in place by the 2016-2017 academic year.
