Travel Policy Information Session Scheduled for Dec. 9
Faculty, staff and students are invited to attend a Travel Policy Information Session on Wednesday, Dec. 9, from 2-4 p.m. in Maxwell Auditorium. After a brief presentation, there will be an opportunity to ask policy-related questions and meet new faculty initiative team members. The information session was previously scheduled for Nov. 18.
Since the University’s new travel policy launched on Sept. 1, more than 900 flights have been booked across 19 countries through the Concur online travel system. The travel policy and use of Concur are expected to achieve a significant reduction in annual travel spending, reduce administrative burden and provide a one-stop travel shopping experience.
Pre-registration for the meeting is not required. CART services will be provided. For more information, the travel policy can be read online. A campuswide survey will also be conducted during November to encourage additional campus feedback on the travel policy, travel process, BTI and the Concur online travel portal.
