The annual poinsettia and wreath sale sponsored by the Women of the University Community (WUC) is underway now through Nov. 23.  The sale benefits three scholarships across the Syracuse University and the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry campuses. It is the group’s biggest fundraiser of the year.

Women of the University Community poinsettia saleThese big, beautiful, florist-grade poinsettias are available in red, white or pink. The six-inch pot is $10 and the eight-inch pot is $17. The 20-inch wreath, made of evergreen balsam fir boughs, is $18.

Please send order form with check or Syracuse University purchase requisition (both white and yellow copies) to Jenny Garvey, Treasurer’s Office, 621 Skytop Road, Suite 120, Syracuse, NY 13244. Checks may be made payable to Women of the University Community.

Orders will be available for pickup at Drumlins, SUNY-ESF, or the Women’s Building on Tuesday, Dec. 1.  Orders of 10-plus items can be delivered to SU campus departments.

On behalf of the members of WUC and the hundreds of students who have benefited from our WUC scholarships, we thank you for your support.

An inclusive organization established at SU in 1927, WUC is open to all current or retired faculty, staff, trustees, graduate students and their spouses from SU, SUNY-ESF, and the SUNY Upstate Medical University. Membership offers friendship, fellowship, interest groups and information about the Syracuse community.
