College of Law graduates have again outperformed the New York State bar passage average.
The recently released July 2015 results show that 79 percent of first time test takers from New York American Bar Association-approved law schools passed the exam, while 83.3 percent of Syracuse University College of Law graduates passed. That places the College of Law more than 4 points above the median.
“Congratulations to our graduates on accomplishing a significant professional milestone,” says William Banks, interim dean of the College of Law. “The continued strong performance on the bar exam is a reflection of the hard work and dedication of our students, the faculty and staff to ensure our graduates are prepared for not only the exam, but for their careers.”
