Bookstore Features Children’s Book Week

The University Bookstore in Schine Student Center will hold a special celebration of Children’s Books Oct. 26-31. The celebration encourages young people and their caregivers to discover the joy of the world through books and stories, and includes interactions with local community schools through the week.

Curious George will make surprise visits to the Schine Student Center and the University Bookstore Oct. 26-30.

Also, beloved storybook character Curious George will make surprise visits Monday, Oct. 26-Friday, Oct. 30 in the Schine Student Center and the University Bookstore. The book sale continues through Saturday, Oct. 31.

There will also be a 30 percent savings on children’s books during the week; faculty/staff discount is already included. Bookstore hours at the Schine location are 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m., Monday-Friday and noon-5 p.m., Saturday. For more information, visit: http://bookweb.syr.edu/.
