Joanne Lenweaver
Joanne Lenweaver, director of the WISE Women’s Business Center—a program of the Martin J. Whitman School of Management—was recognized with the 2015 Outstanding Mentor Award at the inaugural Successful Business Women Awards on Sept. 24. Lenweaver was one of 13 recipients to be recognized as an industry leader who works to ignite success in women across the Central New York region. The awards event is presented by Her HeartBeat and Business Journal News Network produced by BizEventz.
“The awards were founded to honor women in our CNY community who are not only successful in their business or industry, but who go above and beyond by paying it forward through igniting success in other women, organizations or communities,” said Leisha Doherty, event producer and founder of Her Heartbeat.
