Move-in for first year students will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 26, and Thursday, Aug. 27. Campus traffic and parking facilities will be especially congested at this time.
In order to reduce the congestion on the west side of campus on both days, parking for all Standart Lot (STDT), and Fine Lot (FINE) permit holders will be moved to Skytop. Likewise, Stadium (STAD) permit holders will be relocated to either Skytop or the University Avenue Garage on a space-available basis for both days. The #44 Manley shuttle service will be available to transport permit holders to and from campus on these two dates. The schedule for the #44 Manley shuttle can be found on the Parking and Transit Services website at http://parking.syr.edu.
Shuttle buses will depart College Place and Skytop approximately every 10 minutes between 6:45 and 9:15 a.m. and between 3:30 and 6:30 p.m., and approximately every 20 minutes between 9:15 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
