VSIP Decision Deadline Approaching
As the Aug. 5 decision date for the Voluntary Separation Incentive Program draws near, Human Resources is completing important outreach to eligible staff.
On July 22, Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer Andy Gordon sent an email update, and HR representatives have contacted eligible staff to make sure they have the information they need to make an informed decision about the program. On-campus office hours were held throughout the month of July and continue through the Aug. 5 decision date, providing staff an opportunity to discuss their individual circumstances and personal financial situations with representatives from HR and TIAA-CREF.
Human Resources is offering career coaching, résumé and cover letter advice, as well as interviewing tips and other tools for staff interested exploring new professional opportunities. Feedback received during the outreach will help develop new programming for faculty and staff around the subject of retirement readiness. Staff still considering the VSIP should contact the Human Resources Service Center prior to Aug. 5.
