The environment of a building can shape habits and choices, regulate the sleep-wake cycle, drive people toward healthy and unhealthy choices and passively influence health through the quality of surroundings. The WELL Building Standard provides the opportunity to design and build with a human-centered approach, which ultimately supports the industry in comprehensively addressing human health.
