On Friday, April 24, Syracuse University will be holding its annual Mayfest event in Walnut Park.
Walnut Place and Walnut Avenue will be closed to all parking on that day. There will also be limited parking available on Wednesday, April 22, and Thursday, April 23. Parking and Transit Services is offering alternative parking at the Harrison lot located off of Harrison Street on all three days. Additionally, University Garage will be made available; the hours on Wednesday and Thursday are 6 a.m. until 10 p.m., and Friday 6 a.m. until 8 p.m. Motorists are asked to obey all “No Parking” signs and barrels; this also means no parking in between barrels.
