Wishmakers on Campus is hosting a Wish Week this week to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Wishmakers on Campus at Syracuse University has a special connection with Make-A-Wish Central New York and helps bring the life-changing impact of a wish to children battling life-threatening medical conditions in the community.

The following events are taking place:

Wednesday, April 8: Head to Yogurtland on Marshall Street between 4-6 p.m. Make-A-Wish will receive 15 percent of the profits.

Thursday, April 9: What’s a better way to end the week than with some yoga? Wishmakers on Campus has hired a yoga instructor to teach a class in Archbold Gymnasium from 7-8 p.m. The cost is $5 at the door.

Friday, April 10: Visit Recess Coffee at 110 Harvard Place for a refreshing iced/cold coffee. Make-A-Wish will receive $2 for every coffee purchased.

Saturday, April 11: To finish off the week, Wishmakers on Campus is hosting its first Walk for Wishes and Color Run. Walk for Wishes is a nationwide fundraiser for Make-A-Wish Foundation. But color was added for extra fun for a good cause! Registration starts at 10:30 a.m. and the race will start at 11 a.m. The event starts in front of Schine Student Center.

There is a $30 registration fee. Interested participants can register online with a credit card at http://www.active.com/syracuse-ny/running/distance-running-races/walk-for-wishes-color-run-2015?int or register on the day of the event with cash. One hundred percent of the profits will go toward Make-A-Wish.
