Considering this is February, it’s a sure bet for more snowfall in Central New York and at Syracuse University.
As the video below demonstrates, ground maintenance crews at Physical Plant are kept very busy this time of year, clearing snow from the 14 miles of roadways and more than 20 miles of sidewalks that run through campus. However, if there is an issue with snow or ice, there is a place to turn for help. If there is a sidewalk, roadway or curb cut that has not been cleared, or ice that’s causing a hazardous situation, please contact Physical Plant at 443-4984. Just keep in mind, there are fewer than six weeks until the official start of spring.
