Ten Tons of Love Collecting Gently Used Items
Looking to get rid of some clothing or household items that are still in good shape? The Office of Off-Campus and Commuter Services is collecting donations for its Ten Tons of Love initiative. The items are collected by the office at the end of each semester to go to a local church for those in need in the greater Syracuse community.
Beginning on Thursday Dec. 4, boxes will be available in all the residence halls, Goldstein Student Center and Schine Student Center for Ten Tons of Love dropoffs. Donations will be collected until Friday, Dec. 12.
The effort will collect the following items in good condition:
- office/school supplies
- small appliances
- cell phones
Donations of nonperishable food are also accepted.
All items will go to the First English Lutheran Church in Syracuse.
