A piece on sale as part of the “Wild” exhibition
Talent Agency, in partnership with Fowler High School and Syracuse Academy of Science art programs, will present “Wild: The Endangered Species Exhibition,” Dec. 4, 6-7 and 13-14 at SALTQuarters Gallery, 115 Otisco St., Syracuse. Under the guidance of art faculty and staff in the College of Visual and Performing Arts (VPA), Talent Agency prepares artistic youth for application, scholarships and acceptance into college and university art and design programs.
An opening reception will be held on Thursday, Dec. 4, from 5-7 p.m. The work can also be viewed Dec. 6-7 and 13-14 from noon-5 p.m. Art works on the theme will be for sale, with half of the proceeds going to the World Wildlife Fund and the remainder to the young artists.
Talent Agency works with a diverse population of economically disadvantaged students who are committed to developing their talents in a rigorous pre-college program. Students are recommended for the program by City of Syracuse high school art teachers and guidance counselors.
