Syracuse Children’s Chorus Performs Holiday Concert Dec. 7

The Syracuse Children’s Chorus (SCC), an ensemble-in-residence in the Rose, Jules R. and Stanford S. Setnor School of Music in the College of Visual and Performing Arts, will present “A Holiday Festival of Carols” on Sunday, Dec. 7, at 4 p.m. at Most Holy Rosary Church, 111 Roberts Ave., Syracuse.

Under the direction of artistic director Stephanie Mowery, associate directors Da’Jon James and Katherine Dee Medicis and accompanied by pianist Maryna Mazhukova, the SCC will perform a program of songs and carols from around the world. This festive afternoon of song includes audience participation and 100 young voices joining together for a combined finale, a candlelit performance of “Stille Nacht” (“Silent Night”).

Priority ticket pricing is $22 for adults and $20 for children and seniors. General ticket pricing is $18 for adults and $15 for children and seniors. Tickets will be available at the door.
