Hendricks Chapel’s Thanksgiving Food Drive Now Underway
Syracuse University’s Office of Engagement Programs is holding its annual Thanksgiving Food Drive through Friday, Nov. 21. All donated food will be distributed to families in need in the Syracuse community through a local nonprofit organization.
Donations will be accepted until Nov. 21 at noon; perishable donations will be accepted Nov. 19-21. Donations bins can be found in Hendricks Chapel in the mail chapel entry and in the stairwell across from People’s Place coffee shop (on the lower level).
Suggested donations include boxed stuffing mix, canned fruits and vegetables, baking mix, cranberry sauce, vegetable broth, fruit pie filling, bagged potatoes, bagged fresh apples, celery, carrots and onions. Gift cards cannot be accepted.
