Dear Campus Community Members:
I want to provide you an additional update about my ongoing conversations with student representatives of THE General Body. Early this morning, the students provided a new version of their Demands and Solutions document that adds a number of new demands. This afternoon, members of the Chancellor’s Executive Team reviewed the new document and provided a second set of responses. The new document is ADA compliant.
Also, last night I apologized to the students that my campus message sent yesterday did not fully capture my respect and regard for all of the students I have met through this process. I respect them. I continue to interface with the Chancellor and the students to work through their demands and solutions. I look forward to moving to a new stage in the process – one that will allow everyone involved to return to our campus routines.
