Work in Asia would like to invite YOU to join us for a afternoon at our Work in India Event on October 25, 1-3 p.m., HBC Gifford Auditorium.

Work in Asia is a networking organization on campus that provides students the opportunity to network with professionals who have worked or is currently working in Asia Pacific countries. Our goal is to expose students to the emerging job markets of Asia and to encourage students explore different cultures.

We currently have seven focus regions in Asia-Pac, and this semester we are highlighting India with our Work in India Event: Explore India’s Hidden Opportunities

The purpose of the event is to provide students on campus the opportunity to learn about the potential job/career opportunities in India, why india is an emerging economy, and most importantly to explore a different culture! We really personalized this event to allow students obtain wise notes from a professor, deep discussions from MBA students, learn about India’s culture through art forms such as Bollywood dances, and to taste actual Indian food.

Work in India will explore:
Topics of discussion: Policies – Economy – Culture Exposure of India
Key note speaker: Whitman Professor Ravi Dharwadkar
Student Panel Discussion: Three MBA Students
Performance by special guests: SU Zinda and AMAZ -Two Indian Bollywood Dance groups
FREE food: Indian Food & Beverages will be provided – Delicious Butter Chicken and Indian Style Rice & more!

We look forward to seeing everyone attend this event, thank you!
