Bretschneider Wins NASPAA Award

Stuart Bretschneider

Professor Stuart Bretschneider has been awarded the William Duncombe Excellence in Doctoral Education Award by the National Association of Schools of Public Affairs and Administration (NASPAA) for his outstanding contribution to doctoral student success, going above and beyond expected performance.

The award is named in honor of the late William Duncombe, a long-time professor at the Maxwell School, and is intended to recognize an exceptional faculty member at a NASPAA school who has supervisory responsibility for doctoral student efforts outside of coursework. Bretschneider is professor of public administration and international affairs at the Maxwell School and a Laura J. and L Douglas Meredith Professor for Teaching Excellence.
