Faculty and staff are invited to join the Syracuse University team for the 2014 J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge—an annual 3.5 mile walk/run that brings local businesses together to promote health and exercise, with a dose of healthy competition.

The event takes place at 6:25 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, at Onondaga Lake Parkway, Liverpool.

Participation this year is supported by the offices of Government and Community Relations, Human Resources, Recreation Services and the University Wellness Initiative—embody: Your well-being. Your way.

SU team participants will receive:

  • an official 2014 J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge “tech” running shirt
  • a “Team SU” 2014 Corporate Challenge orange T-shirt
  • access to a tented pre- and post-race refreshment area offering snack and beverage stations, as well as tables and chairs
  • half of the $34 registration paid for by the University

Registration closes at noon on May 30. The University will pay $17 per person (half of the $34 registration fee) for eligible employees who participate. Each employee participant must pay his or her $17 share by May 30 at 4 p.m. Only personal checks (payable to Syracuse University) or departmental I.D.s will be accepted. Payments will be accepted at two locations: at Human Resources, Suite 101, Skytop Office Building, and at Recreation Services, 241 Archbold Gym.

Registrants can pick up their race bibs on June 16 and 17 at campus locations to be announced.

Visit the University’s J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge wellness page to find eligibility requirements and to register.
