CAPES Awards Presented to Students, Organizations for Contributing to Public Good

The Chancellor’s Awards for Public Engagement and Scholarship were given out Thursday, April 24, at a celebration in the Joyce Hergenhan Auditorium. The awards recognize individual students, groups of students, residence halls, residence floors, student organizations and academic projects or classes that invest themselves in and contribute to the public good.

The awards were presented by Vice Chancellor and Provost Eric Spina and student Darcy Cherlin ’14, with narration provided by Keith Kobland, media manager in SU News Services.
