Syracuse community? If so, join the summer 2014 SU literacy corps.
SU Literacy Corps tutors work with students at sites in the Syracuse City School District (SCSD) using an established tutoring model. Students from all majors are welcome (and encouraged!) to apply.
Position begins in late June and ends 8/8/14 (tentative). Tutors will work 30-36 hours per week, 8 a.m.-4:30 .pm. Applicants must be available for the entire time period. Tutors work with students in SCSD Summer Program, SCSD Inclusive Summer School Programs and SCSD Pre-K programs.
Applicants must be eligible for a Federal Work Study Award for 2014-2015.
Transportation is available. Salary is $9 per hour.
