Summer Snapshots 2025
From the looks of it, our University community members sure enjoyed themselves over the summer months. From a big adventure around the world to a laid-back staycation, take a look at the fun they had.
Syracuse University will hold its annual Relay for Life to benefit the American Cancer Society April 4-5 in the Carrier Dome. All SU students, faculty and staff, and members of the surrounding community are invited to attend and participate.
Relay for Life celebrates cancer survivors, remembers those who have passed on and raises funds and awareness in the fight against cancer. The event will take place from 6 p.m. on Friday, April 4, through 6 a.m. on Saturday, April 5.
Those who would like to participate can register online at http://www.relayforlife.org/syracuseuniversity. Registration is $20 per person and can be paid online via credit or debit card or in cash the night of the event. All are encouraged to sign up online before the event to utilize the online fundraising tools. Additional donations can be made at registration or any time later.
Many student organizations participate in Relay for Life, and the event includes food and activities that provide entertainment and build camaraderie. A team captain meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 1, at 8 p.m. in Room 105 of the Life Sciences Building.
