(Updated Jan. 28 at 6 p.m.)

National Grid has completed repairs to the exterior gas line outside the Nancy Cantor Warehouse, and the Warehouse will reopen Wednesday, Jan. 29 at 7:30 a.m. as scheduled.

(From earlier story)

Due to significant repair work that National Grid is doing on an exterior gas line located outside of the Nancy Cantor Warehouse, the building closed at 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27, and will remain closed all day tomorrow, Tuesday, Jan. 28. All scheduled classes during this time are canceled, and all offices, studios, galleries and programs in the building will be closed. Buses will be at the building tonight to transport students back to campus and students are encouraged to take any projects or materials they want immediate access to when they leave tonight.

The building is expected to reopen at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29, and all classes and other activities will resume at that time. There will be no access for campus community members to the building during the time the building is closed. Employees should check with their supervisors for further instruction. If an additional update is necessary, it will be posted on the University’s homepage at http://www.syr.edu.
