Oh, the Places You’ll Go! Celebrating Recent High School Grads
We asked faculty and staff to share photos of their favorite recent high school graduates. Congratulations to all, and good luck as you continue your journeys!
Make your way to the Hergenhan Auditorium this Wednesday at 6 p.m. as the Black Student Law Association, along with the National Association of Black Journalists Syracuse University and the
Cold Case Justice Initiative (CCJI) present: “A Conversation with Attorney Benjamin Crump—Trayvon Martin’s Family Lawyer.”
On the birthday of one of the greatest civil rights leaders, Martin Luther King Jr., Crump’s remarks will make connections to King’s commitment to racial, economic and social justice, the work that he does in this vein and the obligation that everyone has to make a difference on the critical issues of our time. He will also address the circumstances and justice imperatives that pertain to the deaths of Trayvon Martin, and his most recent clients, the Kendrick Johnson family.
We hope that you will join us for this thought-provoking conversation.
