Videographers at student-run web portal The NewsHouse are honing their storytelling skills by taking a worldwide view right on the Syracuse University campus. As part of a project assigned by their instructor, Jonathan Glass, students conducted interviews with international students enrolled at SU. The main question: What’s it like trying to transition to life in the U.S.? The text and video packages produced by NewsHouse students paint an extraordinary mosaic of the variety of young people on campus and what life is like for them back home, thousands of miles away.
