Laura Sanz G’14, “Your temple will bloom as/with your eternal damnation” (2013)
International graduate students in the College of Visual and Performing Arts (VPA) are presenting the exhibition “SUtura” through Jan. 15 at XL Projects, 307–313 S. Clinton St., Syracuse. The show is free and open to the public. A reception will be held Thursday, Nov. 21, from 6-8 p.m.
The graduate students, who are from VPA’s Departments of Art and Transmedia, are exhibiting work in a variety of media, including ceramics, fibers, film, illustration, jewelry and metalsmithing, painting, sculpture and video.
Students exhibiting work include Renqian Yang G’14, Yue Wang G’15, Kejun Zhao G’15, Jaroslava Prihodova G’16, Sichang Yang G’16, Laura Sanz G’14, Ozan Atalan G’16, Yanyu Dong G’16, Neven Lochhead G’16, Weigang Song G’15, Zaoli Zhong G’14, Alessia Cecchet G’16, Tian Guan G’14, Seung Huk Lee G’15, Jila Nikpay G’15, June Kyu Q Park G’14, Danwen Si G’15 and Shi Sun G’15.
