Syracuse University’s The Michael Sickler Gallery will display “Double Vision,” a culmination of recent works by artists and current Syracuse University undergraduates Samantha Glevick and Paul Weiner.
“Double Vision” includes an assortment of large and intensely emotional paintings stretching five or six feet in each direction, as well as metaphorically loaded polycarbonate installation sculptures. Playing upon similar color palettes, Glevick and Weiner synchronize aesthetically to develop a richly expressive energy uncontainable by the surrounding white gallery walls.
The show will be on display Oct. 27-Nov. 9 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day of the week. A reception and opportunity to meet the artists will also take place on Nov. 2 from 6-8 pm. The Michael Sickler Gallery is located on the fourth floor of Shaffer Art Building on the Syracuse University campus.
