University College Celebrates National Non-traditional Student Recognition Week

University Colleges recognizes and appreciates our non-traditional students. They bring a unique perspective to the classroom and make valuable contributions to campus life. University College serves more than 6,000 part-time and summer students
during each calendar year, with courses tailored to busy lives that often include families, jobs and responsibility for aging parents. Some 350 students complete their part-time studies through UC each year, and many participate in the University’s Commencement ceremony in May as well as UC’s Commencement Celebration in Hendricks Chapel.
