Anna Elise-Rupert is crawling toward a cafe near you. Absurdity and surrealism are back in Syracuse this Saturday night, Sept. 28, from 10 p.m.-midnight.
Café Club Surreal, a one-of-a-kind experience debuted by Syracuse University Arts Engage last weekend, will return on Saturday, Sept. 28, from 10 p.m.-midnight at the AXA Towers terrace in Downtown Syracuse.
The event will feature Surreal, Grotesque, Avant-garde, Absurdist, Dadaist, Futurist and Agit-Prop interactive performances by CirqOvation and The Building Company. The event will take place in an outdoor coffee café bistro setting under the stars with jugglers, aerialists, clowns and the unexpected in a “cirque du noir” environment. The event is appropriate for teens and older.
The AXA Towers terrace is within walking distance of the Connective Corridor bus stop at the Everson Museum.
