Contemporary thought leader and spiritual teacher Panache Desai will be joining Soulful Sit-Downs for an intimate conversation with the SU community on Thursday, Sept. 26, at 7 p.m. in room 204 of the Tolley Building. His discussion will focus on energy and awakening passion, power and potential.

Desai recently sat down with Oprah Winfrey on the Emmy Award-winning series “Super Soul Sunday,” and is considered to be a top-tier faculty member at the Omega Institute. His work reaches thousands of people through his interactive seminars online and in person around the globe.

“The key to changing the world, to changing your life and to empowering those around you is authenticity—the willingness to be yourself, the willingness to be vulnerable, the willingness to feel, the willingness to live,” says Desai. “I’m simply reminding you of who you truly are, supporting you into self-love and acceptance by eradicating the judgement that you’ve imposed on yourself and society has opposed on you.”

Desai is joining Soulful Sit-Downs via Skype and participants will also have the unique opportunity to engage and ask questions to Desai during the event.

For more information, contact Sean Martinelli at stmart06@syr.edu. Space will be limited; R.S.V.P. to Martinelli if you plan on attending.

Sponsored by Hendricks Chapel and Health and Wellness Promotions, Soulful Sit-Downs is a series of weekly conversations about life’s big questions to help participants seek a higher expression of themselves.

To follow along, tune into Martinelli’s weekly blog at http://livingsublog.syr.edu/author/seanmartinelli.
